Access SITC 2017 Abstracts

The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer's (SITC) 32nd Annual Meeting received a record-breaking number of abstracts in 2017. Researchers submitted more than 560 regular abstracts and an additional 30 late-breaking abstracts were received from investigators whose studies made key data cuts after Aug. 1.

All accepted abstracts have been published in the SITC 2017 Abstract Book as well as in two Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer (JITC) supplements, published on Nov. 7 (regular abstracts) and Dec. 7 (late-breaking abstracts).

Submission Period

The submission period for regular abstracts for SITC 2017 closed Tuesday, Aug. 1.

Poster Presentation Information

If your regular abstract has been accepted for poster presentation, the submitter of your abstract has been notified and provided your poster number. 

Accepted posters can be displayed in the poster hall both Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11. We ask, though, that the presenting author (or another author representative) be available at your poster during the following times based on your assigned poster number:

Odd Numbered Posters (Poster Authors are Present)
Friday, November 10       12:30 – 2 p.m. (Lunch)
Friday, November 10       6:30 – 8 p.m. (Reception)

Even Numbered Posters (Poster Authors are Present)
Saturday, November 11   12:30 – 2 p.m. (Lunch)
Saturday, November 11    6:30 – 8 p.m. (Reception)

Oral Presentation Information


If your regular abstract has been accepted for oral presentation, the submitter of your abstract has been notified. Presentation information including a presentation template, requirements, schedule information, disclosure form, and recording information has been shared with the submitter of the abstract and is available to them in their CATALYST account at https://catalyst.omnipress.com. 

If you confirmed that you will be presenting your abstract as a poster as well, please review the poster information above.

The final presentation times, presenter guidelines and instructions were sent to all presenters. 

Highlights


Late-Breaking Abstracts

Late-breaking Abstract (LBA) submission is solely for abstracts with late-breaking data and not for abstracts submitted "late".

The LBA application deadline was Aug.1 and full abstract submission period closed Sept. 14.

If your late-breaking abstract application was accepted and abstract submitted, the submitter of your abstract has been notified regarding the decision for the abstract. If you are unsure of the decision of your abstract, please contact your abstract submitter or email education@sitcancer.org.

If you confirmed that you will be presenting your abstract as a poster as well, please review the poster information above.

The final presentation times, presenter guidelines and instructions were sent to all presenters.
