The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), in collaboration with the European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC), hosted a patient-focused webinar on the promise of immunotherapy to treat cancer on January 30th, 2018.
Through the Global Promise of Cancer Immunotherapy Webinar, patients, caregivers and patient advocates learned how the immune system can be harnessed to fight cancer.
The webinar was lead by cancer immunotherapy expert Howard L. Kaufman, MD, FACS, and cancer survivor Jacqueline Smith, MS, MA, who has been successfully treated with cancer immunotherapy.
