ESMO-IO SITC Primer Session & Collaborative Session
In collaboration with the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) presents the ESMO-IO SITC Primer Session and Collaborative Session, which will take place during the ESMO Immuno-Oncology Congress in Geneva, Switzerland on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. 

Target Audience: 
The ESMO Immuno-Oncology Congress will cater to the diverse needs of medical/clinical oncologists, basic translational researchers, oncology nurses, and other oncology stakeholders with an interest in the field of cancer immunotherapy.

Primer Session: 
Wednesday, December 6 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CET
The multisession primer program will provide a foundation for the mechanisms of cancer immunotherapy and explore topics such as tumor immunity, tumor inflammation, myeloid cells, TIL-based therapy, cancer vaccines, and the microbiome influence on the TME.

The multisession collaborative program will focus on what we have learned about combination therapies and where the field is heading. The agenda includes topics such as lessons learned from combination therapy in Melanoma and GU cancers, deep immunophenotyping to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets in solid tumors, and biological stratification of patients for better immunotherapy.
