Session I: Novel Primary vs. Adaptive Resistance Mechanisms

01-04-2022 11:01

The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) hosted the “Immuno-Resistance and Sequencing Symposium” during the 36th Annual Meeting & Pre-Conference Programs on November 11, 2021. Available here are the presentation slides and video from “Session I: Novel Primary vs. Adaptive Resistance Mechanisms,” as permitted by presenters.

Program Summary

While immunotherapy treatments, particularly anti-PD-1 therapies, have improved outcomes for some patients, the issue of post-treatment relapse remains a large problem. The proper choice of treatment after relapse on checkpoint inhibition is, therefore, a critical issue to solve. This symposium explored the preclinical and clinical data on sequencing of immunotherapies, in order to improve patient outcomes and ensure the field of immunotherapy remains at the forefront of oncology care.
