SITC Cancer Immunotherapy Guidelines (CIGs) are a collection of consensus statements developed by experts in the treatment of specific types of cancer. Each consensus statement provides key clinical recommendations to help practicing oncologists determine when and how to best use immunotherapy to treat their patients. The guidelines are developed according to a systematic protocol to support clinical decision making regarding the use of approved immunotherapies. Topics include how to integrate immunotherapy into current treatment paradigms, patient selection, biomarker testing, toxicity management, treatment response evaluation and management, use of combination strategies and quality of life.
