A Message from the President

Staying current in immuno-oncology has never been more important—or more complex. With rapid advances across research, clinical practice, and regulation, access to timely, trusted education is essential. That’s where our brand-new Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) OnDemand comes in.

SITC OnDemand offers a robust, library of expert-led education designed to fit your schedule. Subscribers can access recorded sessions from SITC meetings and programs featuring cutting-edge science, clinical insights, and translational research. Whether you’re catching up on a missed session or revisiting key content, OnDemand helps you stay informed and connected, on your terms.

For SITC members, OnDemand is just one component of a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support professional growth and year-round engagement —and is included with membership. As we head into a busy and exciting spring, several key opportunities are right around the corner.

SITC 2026 is on the horizon, and now is the time to start preparing your research for one of the field’s most influential scientific meetings. Abstract submission offers a unique opportunity to present and discuss your work alongside leading experts in cancer immunotherapy and to contribute to shaping the scientific dialogue in the field. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer (JITC), extending the reach and impact of your research well beyond the meeting.

Regular and Early Career Investigator Award abstract submissions will be accepted from April 22 through June 25, 2026, providing opportunities for recognition across career stages. Late-breaking Abstract (Clinical Only) submissions will be accepted from July 15 through September 10, 2026, allowing investigators to share the most recent and practice-changing findings. SITC members also receive discounted registration and early access to housing to participate in the Annual Meeting.

Additional member-exclusive opportunities are also approaching:

  • The SITC election launches May 1 giving members a voice in shaping the future leadership and direction of the Society.

  • Coming soon: SITC is establishing Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for members with the goal of creating dynamic, collaborative spaces where professionals with shared interests can connect, communicate, and advance the field together.

Being a SITC member not only enhances the value of your SITC OnDemand subscription, but also unlocks year-round opportunities for education, recognition, and engagement within the global immuno-oncology community.

We invite you to consider membership as your gateway to the full SITC experience, designed to keep you informed, connected, and at the forefront of the field.
