On March 4, 2026, SITC proudly joined One Voice Against Cancer's (OVAC's) 2026 Lobby Day in Washington, DC, with SITC volunteer Dr. Emily Hopewell, advocating for increased funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We had the opportunity to meet with numerous congressional offices, including Senator Tammy Baldwin and Representative Gwen Moore, to highlight the impact of cancer immunotherapy.
