The Biomarkers Special Interest Group (SIG) is a collaborative forum for developing expert guidance and insights on the state of the art in biomarker identification and application in the cancer immunotherapy setting. The Biomarkers SIG seeks to identify current hurdles and opportunities and make recommendations to the scientific community to more rapidly move the field forward. The SIG's work encompasses standards, biomarker identification/analyses/validation, data and specimen sharing, monitoring advances and tracking emerging technologies for measuring aspects of immunity. SIG members will have opportunity to connect with clinicians, researchers and scientists around the globe who work with biomarkers. The community also helps develop and maintain resources to be utilized by SITC and its members. Virtual and In-person networking opportunities abound as the Biomarkers SIG members carry out their mission.
