The Cancer Immune Responsiveness Special Interest Group (SIG) is a collaboration space formed to facilitate exchange of ideas and shared exploration to advance immune responsiveness learnings and potential breakthroughs. The Cancer Immune Responsiveness SIG brings together contributors in the fields of immunology, cell biology, genetics, computational biology, and other relevant areas to identify current obstacles and opportunities and make recommendations to the scientific community to move the needle in leveraging immune response. The recent focus of the SIG has been to dive deeper into germline genetics, transcriptional patterns, therapeutic interventions, host factors, and cell therapies as they relate to the field of IO. Virtual and In-person networking opportunities are prevalent as the Cancer Immune Responsiveness SIG members carry out their important work.
