Surgery Committee

The Surgery Committee will develop activities in order to facilitate scientific exchange among surgeons working on trials in IO. In particular, an emphasis will be to share successes and develop best practices for surgeons seeking success in the field.
Surgeons have been at the forefront in immuno-oncology (IO) for decades. In earlier years surgeons have driven many trials that led to the many successes we see now. From earlier intervention with IO e.g. adjuvant, neoadjuvant therapy, to intratumoral injections, to tissue acquisitions surgeon have major roles to play in the future of IO.
