I am an Affiliate of the Royal Society of Biology, and my academic journey reflects my deep commitment to research, teaching, and scientific advancement. My online membership with the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy has strengthened my research background and enhanced my engagement with digital modelling and creative scientific approaches. I am also connected with the Open Science Community Amsterdam, which has broadened my exposure to collaborative research projects and grant opportunities.
I earned my Ph.D. from the School of Life Sciences at Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2007, an achievement that remains a proud milestone in my academic career. I completed my Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Hamdard University in 2001, where I developed a strong foundation in biochemical sciences and a commitment to academic excellence. My Bachelor’s degree in Science from University of Allahabad helped shape my competitive spirit and passion for scientific inquiry.
During my early academic years, I demonstrated excellence in extracurricular and academic activities. My performance in an inter-school debate competition was recognized and published in Amar Ujala, Allahabad, highlighting my communication and analytical skills. I also achieved distinction in Biology during my secondary education, which laid the foundation for my future career in research and lecturership.
I qualified the UGC-CSIR National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship as well as GATE, strengthening my academic credentials. I was awarded the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by the Indian Council of Medical Research in 2004, and my research work was subsequently published in the ICMR Annual Report (2005–2006).
In recognition of my academic contributions, I was honored as Reviewer of the Year (2012) by the Journal of Drug Metabolism and Toxicology. I have also received an appreciation certificate for Life Membership from the South Asian Management Association and an Editorial Board Membership certificate from Edwin Incorporation.
My passion lies in advancing research in Life Sciences and contributing to teaching and mentorship. I am deeply motivated to use my knowledge and skills for social welfare and scientific development.
