The Jeffrey S. Weber Memorial Fund & Remembrance

At the 39th SITC Annual Meeting and Pre-Conference Programs in Houston, TX, leaders and attendees gathered to remember the life and legacy of one of IO’s luminaries – Dr. Jeffrey S. Weber – Dr. Weber, who passed away in August 2024 from pancreatic cancer, was remembered by friends and colleagues through a beautiful remembrance video presented at the Presidential Welcome.

To continue Dr. Weber’s life and legacy within the field of immune-oncology, SITC established the Jeffrey S. Weber Memorial Fund. A donation to this fund will help emerging leaders in immuno-oncology who are focused on a novel approach to advancing the field of immunology and cancer immunotherapy. The fund will support travel awards to the SITC Annual Meeting for early career investigators.
