Program Summary
Immunotherapeutic approaches are not equally effective across cancer types because not all tumor types are the same. This workshop shined a spotlight on an exciting, emerging area of immunotherapy research. Through this two-day workshop, basic and translational researchers gained cutting-edge knowledge to different tumor microenvironments and the efficacy of immunotherapy across tumor types, a topic that has largely been unexplored. Together, attendees shared research and experiences to ignite a bigger spark for tumor microenvironment investigations and collaborated to improve patient outcomes.
