This paper covers highlights from the International Society for Biological Therapy of Cancer (iSBTc) 21st Annual Meeting, including the associated iSBTc Primer on Tumor Immunology and Biological Therapy, and the iSBTc Mini-Symposium on the Biologic Effects of Targeted Therapies. The programs ran from 26 – 29 October 2006 and were held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Focussed on the varying aspects of biological cancer therapies and tumor immunology, the iSBTc 21st Annual Meeting featured 131 scientific posters, 29 oral abstract presentations, 20 invited speaker lectures and 2 keynote addresses.
