Program Summary
This in-depth joint educational seminar, offered prior to the 2017 ASCO Annual Meeting, will enable clinical oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and the entire medical team to effectively offer their patients additional treatment options through immunotherapy. After the seminar, attendees will be able to apply basic immunology principles to the clinical setting; effectively identify patients who may benefit from immunotherapy; confidently manage all aspects of patient care for those receiving immunotherapy; and describe emerging drugs and concepts in the field, including the value proposition of immunotherapy agents for patients and one’s clinical practice.
