As a staff scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific Chris leads a cross-functional team developing fluorescent probes, labeling technologies, and cell-based assays focused on immunotherapy research. Over the last eleven years he has developed more than seventy novel reagents for characterizing disease on a cellular level in areas such as innate and adaptive immunity, cell growth and proliferation, apoptosis and cytotoxicity, endocytosis and phagocytosis. Recent research has focused on therapeutic antibodies, antibody drug conjugates, and mechanisms of antibody-directed immune effector cell function. Chris travels frequently to support several collaborative research projects and has given over 300 technical seminars and trainings in over forty countries as part of a scientific education program.
