Bio

I discovered my desire to become a physician while pursuing my Masters in biomedical engineering during a prosthetics mission trip to Vietnam. I completed med/peds residency training and now currently in adult hem/onc fellowship with a goal to clinically treat AYA/sarcoma patients while pursuing cure for the sarcomatous malignancies afflicting this population. At the University of Florida, I have an incredible opportunity to learn and work in the translational space via the Pediatric Cancer Immunotherapy Initiative and collaborating with the College of Engineering to develop new sarcoma models, novel therapeutic targeting and tracking systems using iron oxide nanoparticles, and manipulating our RNA-nanoparticle vaccine for commercialization and varying indications.
