With over 12 years of experience in hematology-oncology, cancer immunotherapy, and cell therapy, I am a passionate and devoted physician-scientist-oncologist who leads the clinical development of novel cell therapies at Verismo Therapeutics. My mission is to create transformative medicines for patients with cancer, and bring them closer to durable remissions, and hopefully cure.
As the Vice President of Clinical Development, I leverage my clinical, research, and leadership skills to design and execute innovative and robust clinical trials, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, and generate high-quality data and evidence for regulatory submissions and publications. I also contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the company, and mentor and coach the clinical development team. I believe endless possibilities lie 'outside the box' and 'optimism is the fuel to success'.
Some of my recent achievements from previous role include leading the development of a functional mobile application (BEE [Belamaf Eye Exam] App) for investigators to grade ocular toxicity, co-inventing a patented method to reduce ocular adverse events, and co-authoring multiple peer-reviewed articles on therapeutic targets and mechanisms of action.
