One Year • $100,000 Award
This $100,000, one-year cancer immunotherapy fellowship helps support the development of a female immunotherapy expert who has an MD, a PhD or a combined MD/PhD with a vested interest in furthering research in cancer immunotherapy. Priority will be given to female applicants who self-identify ethnic minority status according to the NIH’s guidance on underrepresented populations. U.S.-based applicants only.
Eligibility Criteria
- Current SITC member, in good standing at time of submission (i.e. current in dues)
- Be a female with an MD, PhD or combined MD/PhD degree
- Currently hold a position at an academic institution or government cancer center as a postdoctoral fellow, resident, research scientist or comparable position, prior to obtaining a tenure track faculty position
- Be within postdoctoral or postgraduate training, or no more than four years from completing such training
- Commit 75 percent of workday to research supported by the fellowship
- Only domestic applicant are eligible to apply. International applicants are not eligible
