Presented by the Community Oncology Alliance in collaboration with the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer
The theme of the Community Oncology Conference in 2016 was Innovation in Cancer Care: Moving from Concept to Practice. Intended for community oncology clinicians, practice administrators, and industry leaders, the conference offered outstanding, in-depth programming across clinical, business and advocacy tracks. Attendees to the clinical track learned about staying one-step ahead in the new world of immuno-oncology and moving from concept to practice in the treatment of CLL, NSCLC, and other cancers.
The mission of COA is to protect and foster the community oncology delivery system in the United States through public policy, advocacy, and education. Because the majority of Americans battling cancer receive treatment in the community setting, ensuring the vitality of the community cancer care delivery system is imperative for patient well-being.
