This satellite symposium, which will be held during the 2016 ASCO Annual Meeting, is specifically designed to meet the needs of practicing oncologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cancer. The program will include highly interactive hot topic discussions and case studies. The session will highlight the unique characteristics of immunotherapy in oncology and recent clinical trial data evaluating novel immunotherapies and combination strategies for the treatment of solid tumors. Clinicians will gain valuable insight from leading experts in the field regarding how recent advances in immunotherapy will impact clinical practice and strategies for integration of immunotherapy into the treatment of a variety of solid tumor types.
