The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) hosted the Autoimmunity and Immuno-Oncology Virtual Summit on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 1–4 p.m. ET. This open-door virtual event highlighted the emerging role of immunotherapies in treating autoimmune diseases. Expert faculty presenters provided an overview of autoimmunity, the current state of knowledge of immunotherapies for autoimmune diseases, mechanisms of toxicities and their management in different patient populations, and areas of opportunity at the intersection of immuno-oncology (IO) and rheumatology.
More information about the program, including the webinar agenda, can be found here.
