2002 Angiogenesis Workshop

Thank you for your interest in the Angiogenesis Workshop organized by the Society for Biological Therapy and Co-Sponsored by the Vascular Biology Faculty of the National Cancer Institute, NIH. This exciting workshop will assemble both national and international leaders in the field from academia, industry, and government and will be held on November 7, 2002 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in San Diego, CA.
The ultimate goal of this meeting is to establish Society for Biological Therapy and Vascular Biology Faculty of the NCI joint guidelines for Angiogenesis Monitoring of cancer for publication in a leading cancer journal in early 2003.
During the workshop, participants are expected to attend the sessions and actively participate in the Panel Discussion at the end of the day which will be the basis of the guidelines. Advice from the participants will be invaluable in making certain these guidelines incorporate a broad range of views.
The estimated attendance of this meeting is 100-120 people in order to maintain a small working group for creation of the guidelines. Registration has been set at $500 per delegate which includes meeting materials, continental breakfast, and box lunch. Registration also includes a copy of the final document after it is published in early 2003.
